Dedicated to the memory of Fran Crawshaw

This site is a tribute to Fran Crawshaw, who was born in Middleton, Manchester, in 1938, and who died peacefully in her sleep at home on 24th April 2024, aged 86.  She will always be remembered for her distinctive personality, her fierce independence, her outspoken ways, her unique sense of humour and her love of a ‘Crawshaw Bargain’.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandma and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

When Fran needed medical care during the night during her final few weeks, she was fortunate to be able to call upon nurses from Trinity Hospice.  They were so caring and gentle, and always treated her with great respect and dignity which meant so much to her.   Fran’s family are so grateful to Trinity Hospice, and would like you to consider making a donation to Trinity Hospice in Fran’s memory, so that their nurses can continue their vital work and help others in need.

If you have any memories you would like to share about Fran, or any messages, please contribute to this site by posting your tribute below.  There is also an opportunity to upload photos of Fran in the picture gallery.

Fran’s family are very grateful for any contributions you can make to this tribute site, and any donations you are able to make to Trinity Hospice.

Thank you.
